Qualification Requirement – HNC in Early Education and Childcare or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation of a safe, warm, caring, home from home environment where each child feels secure, supported and valued.
- You will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate a professional level of verbal and written communication skills.
- You will have experience in delivering the Curriculum for Excellence, with a sound knowledge of Realising the Ambition, GIRFEC and supporting documents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a supportive team environment, showing willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to all infection control and health and safety guidance.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.e.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold HNC in Early Education and Childcare or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children’s growth and development.
